PVA Pulver Typ 26-88 S
Our PVA powder (polyvinyl alcohol) has numerous application possibilities and is required, among other things, as a component for special concrete formulations in which it gives the concrete special properties. In addition, it can also be used to make adhesives and Slime, which is popular with children.
There are many different types of PVA, which differ mainly in their degree of hydrolysis, viscosity and fineness of grinding. The very finely ground types, which are indexed with an S, are particularly suitable for use as additives in cementitious masses, because they dissolve especially easily in the mixture. In addition, a medium degree of hydrolysis of approx. 88% is very suitable for such applications. Our range therefore only includes the two types 4-88 S (low viscosity) and 26-88S (high viscosity) with the following characteristic values:

The recommended dosage in concrete formulations is between 5% and 20% of the cement quantity.
