Our THIXO is a liquid additive that can be used to thicken all of our moulding silicones to fill undercuts or facilitate application to vertical surfaces. This is how you turn a pourable silicone into a spreadable silicone. Depending on the silicone and the amount added, different viscosities can be set. The recommended dosage is between 1 and 3 %, depending on the desired effect.
For condensation-curing silicone types, please choose the 450 ml container (special), which contains a variant specially adapted to such silicones. For addition-curing silicones, on the other hand, all variants can be used equally. We recommend carrying out appropriate preliminary tests in individual cases.
