Microsilica white Type ZZ

Our white microsilica is a highly pure pozzolanic additive for the production of special types of concrete of your own recipe. You can produce high-performance and ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) yourself. In addition, you can design concrete mixes with a high degree of safety against efflorescence.

With its extremely small particle size, microsilica is about 100 times finer than cement. Thus, it is highly reactive and is ideally suited to fill the pore spaces between the cement particles. In addition, microsilica (silica fume) greatly improves the flowability of self-compacting concrete. This creates a particularly tight and solid concrete.

A dosage of 5% by weight of the amount of concrete contained is recommended for the production of ultra high-performance cement (UHPC). The water to cement ratio should be set between w/c = 0.2 and w/c = 0.35 and a PCE superplasticizer should be used.
