Liquid pigment type PL83 pitch black

Our cement-compatible liquid pigments are used in art, design, craft and construction. They can be used to colour all our mortars as well as any type of concrete, plaster or jointing compound in strong colours and lightfast.

The maximum recommended dosage of liquid pigments in concrete and mortar masses is 8% based on the cement contained. For a cement-bonded wall coating mass, about half of which consists of cement, this results in a maximum of 40 g liquid pigment per 1 kg dry mass. Because pigments in liquid form are much better dispersed than powder pigments, a much lower dosage is usually sufficient.

The colour shown here is pitch black. It is a carbon black pigment which, due to its nature, also enables very dark shades which cannot be achieved with iron oxide pigments.
