GRUMO XXS mortar concentrate, 20 kg

GRUMO XXS is not a ready-made mortar, but a concentrate that can be used to transform cheaper DIY shop concrete into proven and trusted GRUMO base mortar for sculptural design. In this way you can save a lot of money without losing the coveted properties of GRUMO.

The recipe: To prepare 100 kg of base mortar, mix a 20 kg bag GRUMO XXS with two 40 kg bags of screed/concrete, which is available at a really low cost from your local DIY shop. That's a brilliant way to get along on a small budget, particularly for larger projects, such as for playgrounds, schools or parks.

Of course, the granulation in the screed/concrete from the DIY shop is rather coarse, and as a result, so is the base mortar thus produced. But that’s not a problem with large workpieces and, if required, the fine-grained GRUMO can be used for the final layer.

GRUMO XXS is white and when mixed with grey screed/concrete it takes on a concrete-grey colour. The material can be shaped for up to 2 hours and hardens after one day. This time can be shortened as required by adding some of our concrete accelerator.
