MOMO modelling mortar, white

MOMO is the perfect material for modelling with concrete. Prepare the mortar with very little water and knead it well. The very smooth material can then be shaped almost like clay and be used for details such as hands, faces or folds of fabrics.

When producing larger works, it is advantageous to first build a load-bearing, wire reinforced base body consisting of BUMS or GRUMO and then design the details with MOMO. The work is quite relaxed because the mortar can be shaped for up to 2 hours. MOMO sets after one day and any further layers can then be applied.

MOMO is also very suitable for the production of stamped concrete. In this technique, stir more water into the mixture and then apply it like plaster. Once the solidification starts, stamps made of silicone reliefs are pressed into the surface.

MOMO results in a frostproof and weather-resistant concrete. The material is white and can be coloured by adding pigments or painted with suitable acrylic or mineral concrete paints. The recommended maximum amount of colour pigments is 20 g per kg dry matter.
