GOGOLIT® DESIGN II lightweight grouting mortar

GOGOLIT® DESIGN II is a fast curing pourable lightweight concrete of high strength and surface density. It is used for the manufacture of small accessories made of concrete. Due to its special composition GOGOLIT® DESIGN II has excellent flow properties and is self-compacting. The casting result is of exceptionally high strength and thus ideally suited for utensils of daily use. When poured into correspondingly smooth casings GOGOLIT® DESIGN II produces surfaces as smooth as glass. The reworking of edges and protrusions after casting is possible with simple sandpaper. Unlike ordinary concrete the aggregate is not exposed visually (dotted surface) by sanding, but a uniform surface appearance remains. The reason is that the aggregate contained in GOGOLIT® DESIGN II is extremely fine. The specific gravity of GOGOLIT® DESIGN II is 40% lower than that of normal concrete.

GOGOLIT® DESIGN II is light grey and can be coloured by adding our cement-compatible pigments. Up to 20 g of colour pigments may be added per kg of dry compound. The mortar can be processed for up to 15 minutes.
