Fibre glass rod for concrete 4 mm, 250 cm long, 4-pack

Our fibreglass rods for concrete in a pack of 4 are the clever alternative to reinforcing steel. They are ideal as additional reinforcement in kitchen worktops with recesses where special load concentrations are expected and a purely textile reinforcement is not enough. Due to their small diameter, the rods are very flexible, i.e. they can be bent but always spring back to their straight shape. The smallest possible bending radius when installed is 30 cm. An angle grinder is suitable for cutting. Since the material has almost the same density as concrete, the rods can easily be moved into position during concreting and remain there without floating up or sinking.

The rod has a length of 2.50 m, a diameter of 4 mm and a tensile strength of > 8 kN. The AR glass material is insensitive to the alkalinity of the concrete and cannot rust.
