FLUP® - PCE-375 liquid superplasticizer

FLUP® - PCE-375 can make concrete flow like honey, making it self-compacting. The active substance is polycarboxylate ether (PCE), which under the concrete superplasticizers represents the latest technological development. PCE superplasticizer can be used for ultra high performance concrete, where you want to manage with the smallest quantities of water.

The important thing is that you can not vibrate self-compacting concrete like you can with normal cast concrete. It finds its shape all by itself and could segregate by vibrating, i.e. the coarse components settle to the bottom and a puddle of water forms on the top.

Our PCE superplasticizers come in liquid or powder form and are available in various types to enable the optimal selection for the intended purpose. FLUP® - PCE-375 is an extremely effective liquid superplasticizer that is perfectly matched to our TEGNO® cement. We recommend to mix it directly into the mixing water, which promotes the plasticizing effect. The combination of TEGNO® and FLUP® - PCE-375 makes it possible to produce even ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) in a cement mixer or with a hand mixer. The prescribed dosage is 13 grams (equivalent to approx. 12 ml) FLUP® - PCE-375 per kilogram TEGNO®.

There are also powdered FLUP® - types available in the shop. These are PCE-104 (all-rounder), PCE-001 (specifically recommended for Flowstone®) and KOMBI-4 (combination of superplasticizer, thickener and defoaming agent). The necessary amount to add is generally extremely low and depends on the particular formulation of the concrete. In the best case, one to two kilos superplasticizer per ton of concrete are sufficient.
