Foamed concrete is a lightweight, thermally insulating and non-combustible material with numerous possible applications. It can be used as insulation and filling material in many areas of construction, replacing plastics such as polystyrene. Foam concrete is non-combustible and, as a purely mineral building material, is easy to recycle. However, small quantities of less than 10 m³ tend to be required for renovations and existing buildings in particular, for which the use of a standard foam concrete plant is not worthwhile. To close this gap, the workshop demonstrates a new, simplified process that can be used to efficiently produce and process foam concrete even on smaller construction sites. This video provides a brief introduction to the process.
As part of theoretical and practical instruction, each participant will learn how to use the SPUMAX foaming device and how to use it in conjunction with a plastering machine. In addition, the workshop provides an insight into the technical properties of foam concrete and its professional application.
